Parents Council

Upcoming Events

The Parents Council are currently running a coin collection in conjunction with the student council.  Each class in encouraged to bring in coppers and coins and the class to raise the most money will win a prize.

Thanks to all who participated in creating the 2018 School Calendar - a few copies still left in the office.

Parents Council Donations

Thank you to the Parents Council for donating to swimming lessons for 3rd and 4th classes.  

Money raised from the sale of the school calendar was used to purchase an interactive panel board for a classroom.

Thank you to the Parents Council for fundraising for an additional 3 iPads.  We now have 15 iPads in the school which are timetabled for classes from 1st to 6th at various times during the school week.  

Thank you to the Parents Council for funds for 8 P.E./Gymnastic mats which were recently purchased.

The Parents Council have donated many other amounts to the school for various activities such as tin whistle/music, cycle programme, swimming lessons and resources for the junior Aistear programme.

The Membership of Scoil Lios Teilic NS Parents Association

All parents or guardians of children attending Scoil Lios Teilic are automatically member of the Parents Association.  Each year a Committee is elected who then act on behalf of the members of the Parents Association.

Our meetings are held at least four times per school year and the school will inform parents/guardians of dates and times by note or text.

Scoil Lios Teilic Parents Association is officially affiliated to the National Parents Council Primary (NPC) which is the nationwide organisation representing parents of children attending early and primary education. The NPC contributes to the advancement of the early and primary education of all children, in order to improve and enrich the education of each child and to support the involvement of parents in all stages -
