Junior Park Runs are available in 7 locations, with many more at development stage. They offer a 2km non-competitive running opportunity for children aged 4-14 years old every Sunday morning. A great place for children to meet their friends for a FUN run.

Tralee Junior Park Run is held every Sunday morning in Tralee Town Park (The Green).

We recently welcomed Martina and Caroline from Tralee Junior Park Run to our school to promote this fun, free activity.  The timing of this visit was ideal as we had just launched our "Walk-a-Marathon" and many pupils within the school are now taking part on a Sunday morning to reach their target of 42 kilometers in 42 days.

Operation Transformation 10@10

On the 10th of February at 10am for 10 minutes thousands of Irish schools took part in the 10@10, Ireland's biggest exercise party. It was a brilliant way to cheer up a very cold February morning! The OT Classroom Work Out videos are a great resource to have for the months ahead with the added advantage that there are both Irish and English versions. Great to use on the days when children are unable to get outdoors to play.

Listellick welcomed Padraig O'Mahoney, former student and fitness professional, to the school and he led the classes in an energetic Zumba workout.  Each group danced for 10 minutes and enjoyed every minute of it!  See the YouTube video below.  Please also see the attached link to view the feature in www.traleetoday.ie
